WHAT IS NOISE GUARD?

Noise Guard is a unique next generation noise monitoring solution consisting of one or more terminals and a server where the data from the terminals is being
sent to and can be viewed and analyzed by the users. The system is based on Brüel & Kjær Type 2250 sound level meter providing continuous periodic
measurements of basic sound parameters and calculation of environmental noise indicators.

SERVER HOSTING

Noise Guard software is deployed on Linux machine and you can decide between two hosting options:

SELF-HOSTED

You provide a server, we install the Noise Guard software.

We install the Noise Guard software on a server provided by the customer. The customer is responsible for meeting all the technical requirements for running Noise Guard server and its maintenance.

AS-A-SERVICE

We take care of everything.

We install the Noise Guard software on our cloud server. Our team takes care of everything, including the server maintenance.

WEB USER INTERFACE

MAIN FEATURES

DATA VIEW

Collection of all the data – sound data, frequency spectrum, weather data and sound recordings.

You can choose between three different view. Hour view with selectable minute intervals and associated sound recordings that can be played instantly. Day view with calculated hourly averages. Month view with calculated daily indicators (Ln, Ld, Le, Lden).

Various parameters can be displayed and data can be sorted based on the applied filters and instantly downloaded for further analysis.

MAP VIEW

Basic parameters such as live LAF, wind speed and wind direction of each terminal displayed on a map. This view can be made available for public access as well.

TERMINAL VIEW

Terminal view incorporates status indicators with real-time and historical noise level parameters captured from each terminal in the system.

You can also check sound level meter and transducer serial number and type, check (mobile) network quality and remotely restart Noise Guard terminal or sound level meter.

Terminal image can also be uploaded which will be displayed on Map view with all other information.

OTHER FEATURES

EXPORT

Export data for a specific terminal and desired time range.

Data is exportable in both XLSX and CSV format.

You can select which parameters you want to export along with custom filters, which can be saved as a template for future use.

USERS

Users view enables administrators to view and manage users who have access to Noise Guard web application. This view is not visible to ordinary users.

WHAT’S NEW

On this page you can see release notes: a list of versions is displayed and each version has new features and bug fixes listed.

SETTINGS

Map location and zoom level can be set here. This controls the default map position that is shown when you open Map view.

Public view can be toggled with option for custom public view token.

You can enable or disable the display of “More info” button on Map view. You can also edit the content of the “More info” pop-up.

API and Marine Traffic can be enabled here.

PREMIUM FEATURES

REPORT

Here you can generate an Excel report for a chosen terminal and a chosen month.

Daily Ld, Le, Ln and Lden values for each day of the chosen month are exported and shown in graphs. The values that exceed the limits for the chosen land planning category are marked and the number of days the limit was exceeded is counted.

OFFLINE DATA-VIEWER

Here you can create an offline dataviewer zip file that contains an xlsx file with all the data from the terminal and a Recordings folder that contains all the recordings. The xlsx file contains links to recordings so it is easy to find the recording that belongs to a certain time.

MARINE TRAFFIC

Here you can see the correlation between terminals and vessels for selected date and time along with terminal and vessel information.
